Timber Rattlesnake
Although I’m not a fan of snakes, at all! I loved the texture and colors of the Timber Rattlesnake during a recent visit to the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News, Virginia.
Timber Rattlesnakes (Crotalus horridus) are one of three venomous snakes of Virginia.
Timber rattlesnakes are very heavy bodied snakes reaching lengths upwards of five and a half feet.
Their coloration ranges from yellow to black bands crossing the body.
