About Us

Seth Fisher is a local photographer residing in Newport News, Virginia. For five years Through My Lens Photography has been specializing in nature, scenic, human interest, and floral photography.

Seth's love for nature was nurtured early in life by his father and both of his grandfathers who shared in their love of gardening. Seth now manages his family's gardens and has been an active member of the Newport News Master Gardeners since 2002.

His interest in photography started as a tool for a science project in his home education curriculum at the age of 12. Since then he has developed from an enthusiastic hobbyist to a freelance photographic artist.

When he isn't taking photographs of nature, at an art show, or in the garden, Seth enjoys photographing special events such as conventions, graduation and award ceremonies. He loves taking pictures of business products for advertising, as well as on-location portrait and bridal photography.
