• Jefferson Davis Pipe - Casemate Museum

     

    This unique Meerschaum pipe with its egg-shaped bowl in the clutches of the wonderfully rendered eagle claw is one of a kind.

    The beautifully-colored pipe was a constant companion to Jefferson Davis while he was being held as a prisoner at Fort Monroe, Virginia, after the Civil War.

    In early 2014, the Davis family removed the pipe from display in the Casemate Museum. This may have been the final photograph taken of the pipe.

    Any multiple of 4 notecards will be priced at $15. You can mix and match cards, and still take advantage of the discount.
