American Alligator
The American alligators reside nearly exclusively in the freshwater rivers, lakes, swamps, and marshes of the southeastern United States, primarily Florida and Louisiana. They average 10 to 15 feet in length, can weigh up to 1,000 pounds, and its jaw has a bit pressure of 2,125 pounds per square inch.
Not the most attractive of all animals, but surely one of the most unique and intimidating. I felt cropping in on the eye and funny looking smile that adorns his snout made this image one of a kind.
